The Story of This Piece

Flowers Moving in an Endless Rhythm

This round bonsai pot opens gently towards a broad flared rim, giving the form a balanced sense of width and presence. The body is raised on three shaped feet, creating a small space beneath the pot while keeping the overall silhouette grounded and composed.

Across the white glazed exterior, large blue flower heads are connected by curling leaves and flowing stems. The decoration continues around the entire body rather than forming a single front-facing image, allowing the pattern to unfold gradually as the pot is turned.

The deep cobalt tones vary from dense, almost inky areas to softer blue sections within the petals and foliage. These changes give the repeated pattern greater depth and prevent the decoration from feeling mechanically uniform. Small geometric details on the feet extend the blue-and-white design to the base of the pot.

A fine gold-coloured line follows the outer edge of the rim, introducing a warm accent against the cool blue and white palette. The pale glazed interior remains visually quiet, leaving the continuous floral scrollwork as the main decorative focus.

Traditional in its colour and ornament yet clean in its rounded form, the pot carries a strong decorative presence without losing the calm proportion needed for a considered planting.
