Welcome to CollectorPots.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of collectorpots.com and purchases made through the website.
By accessing the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
1. About CollectorPots
CollectorPots offers a curated selection of Chinese handmade ceramic pots and related collectible objects.
Many pieces are handmade, individually selected, one of a kind, or available only in very limited quantities.
2. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to present each item accurately through photographs, descriptions, dimensions, condition information, and other documentation.
Because many pieces are handmade, natural or handmade variation may occur in:
- form;
- glaze;
- color;
- surface texture;
- firing marks;
- brushwork;
- foot shape;
- dimensions; and
- other individual characteristics.
These variations can form part of the character of a handmade object.
Any known condition issue that we consider material will be disclosed where reasonably practicable.
Nothing in this section limits rights relating to goods that are materially misdescribed or otherwise fail to meet applicable consumer guarantees.
3. Photographs and Display
We aim to represent products accurately.
However, colors and brightness can appear differently depending on the customer's screen, device, browser, and display settings.
Product photographs should therefore be considered together with the written product description.
4. Availability and One-of-a-Kind Pieces
Many CollectorPots items are one of a kind.
Adding an item to a shopping cart does not permanently reserve it.
Availability is not guaranteed until checkout has been successfully completed and the order has been accepted.
If an inventory error results in an unavailable item being ordered, we will cancel the affected item and refund the amount paid for it.
5. Prices
Prices are displayed in the currency shown on the website or at checkout.
For eligible destinations, the listed product price includes CollectorPots' standard tracked international shipping allowance unless otherwise stated.
Additional charges may still apply for remote, unsupported, or special destinations.
Import duties, import taxes, customs clearance charges, and related carrier fees are not included unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout.
6. Orders
Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase the products in that order.
We may review an order before fulfillment.
CollectorPots may cancel or refuse an order where reasonably necessary, including where:
- an item is unavailable;
- an obvious pricing or listing error has occurred;
- payment cannot be authorized;
- shipping to the address is unavailable;
- fraud or misuse is reasonably suspected; or
- fulfillment is otherwise not reasonably possible.
If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will refund the applicable amount to the original payment method.
7. Payment
Payments are processed through payment providers made available through Shopify Checkout.
Available payment methods may change from time to time.
A payment method displayed on the website does not guarantee that every transaction will be approved.
Payment providers may conduct identity, security, fraud-prevention, or transaction checks under their own rules.
8. Shipping
CollectorPots currently intends to offer standard tracked international shipping to eligible addresses in:
- the United States;
- Canada; and
- Australia.
Orders are generally prepared for dispatch within 3–5 business days.
Orders are not normally dispatched on weekends or Chinese public holidays.
Estimated transit times after dispatch are:
United States:
approximately 9–16 business days.
Canada:
approximately 9–16 business days.
Australia:
approximately 9–20 business days.
Transit times are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates.
Carrier delays, customs procedures, weather, remote-area handling, public holidays, or other events outside our reasonable control can affect delivery time.

9. Unsupported Addresses and Remote Areas
CollectorPots does not accept delivery to:
- PO Boxes;
- APO addresses;
- FPO addresses;
- DPO addresses;
- military postal addresses; or
- destinations that are not supported by the selected carrier.
Some remote locations may require an additional shipping quote.
Customers with remote or unusual delivery addresses should contact CollectorPots before placing an order.
10. Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing a complete, accurate, and deliverable shipping address.
After fulfillment begins, we cannot guarantee that an address can be changed or a shipment can be intercepted.
Additional costs resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address, refusal, failure to collect, or another recipient-related delivery issue may be charged to the customer or deducted from an applicable refund to the extent permitted by law.
11. Duties, Taxes, and Customs
International shipments are generally sent on a DAP basis unless otherwise stated.
The recipient is responsible for applicable:
- import duties;
- import taxes;
- customs clearance charges;
- carrier customs-processing charges; and
- other destination-country charges.
CollectorPots does not control these charges.
A customer who refuses to pay required destination charges may become responsible for reasonable costs arising from return, storage, customs processing, disposal, or re-shipment, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
12. Shipping Damage
Ceramic objects are fragile.
Customers should inspect parcels promptly after delivery.
Visible shipping damage should be reported within 3 days whenever reasonably possible so that evidence can be preserved and a carrier claim can be submitted.

13. Returns and Refunds
Returns, damage claims, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the CollectorPots Refund Policy.
The Refund Policy forms part of these Terms.
14. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the CollectorPots website and its original content, including:
- text;
- photographs;
- product documentation;
- graphics;
- branding;
- layout; and
- other original materials
are owned by CollectorPots or used with appropriate permission.
You may use the website for personal shopping and informational purposes.
You may not reproduce, republish, commercially exploit, scrape, or distribute substantial portions of original CollectorPots content without permission, except where permitted by law.
15. Acceptable Use
You must not use the website:
- for unlawful or fraudulent activity;
- to interfere with website security or operation;
- to attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts;
- to submit false or misleading information;
- to abuse payment, refund, or chargeback processes; or
- in any other manner that violates applicable law.
16. Third-Party Services
CollectorPots relies on third-party services such as Shopify, payment providers, and logistics providers.
Those services may be subject to their own terms, availability, security procedures, and privacy policies.
17. Website Availability
We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but uninterrupted operation cannot be guaranteed.
We may update, suspend, modify, or discontinue parts of the website where reasonably necessary.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CollectorPots will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising solely from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, statutory right, or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services, business practices, or legal requirements.
The updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
Terms applicable to an existing order will remain subject to any rights and obligations that cannot lawfully be changed after the order was placed.
