The Story of This Piece

Balloon Parade

A cheerful procession unfolds around this compact oval pot.

Small yellow figures run, gather, and follow floating balloons across the warm cream surface. Each side presents a slightly different moment, giving the decoration a continuous sense of movement as the vessel is turned.

The animated imagery is balanced by a restrained form. A deep red line follows the softly irregular rim, while matching geometric patterns decorate the four raised feet. These darker accents give structure to the bright yellow, blue, and orange palette without making the pot feel overly busy.

The interior retains the same warm ivory tone, allowing the colourful exterior to remain the focus. Two larger drainage holes and two smaller auxiliary openings support drainage, airflow, and anchoring during planting.
